Jamie Moir

Jamie has 25 successful years in sales and sales management. After five years in the technical areas of the IT industry, he started his sales career with Rank Xerox. Upon completion of a world-renowned training program, he was told by his management that he would take to sales “like a duck to water”. He went on to achieve all sales targets that they set for him. He then moved to Pegasus Software, leading the team responsible for the accounting software package which outsold its closest competitor in the UK by two-to-one. He was also responsible for the turn around of AC Systems, part of the Pegasus Group.

Following their adoption of Pegasus, Jamie joined IBM to sell systems and software both directly and via its reseller base. Again he achieved all targets during his time at IBM and attended two of IBM Europe’s Top Performers events.

Headhunted by the UK’s largest reseller, Computacenter, he was responsible for significantly increasing revenue from the corporate sector. Promoted to the position of Regional Sales Manager, Retail Banks, he and his team increased revenue from £30 million to £80 million in 18 months.

At this stage, because of his personal interest, Jamie decided to change tack and focus on the art and science of ‘selling techniques’ that had earned him so much corporate success - he formed BroadReach.
